Well today is Tuesday and we still have at lesat five days left til we go back to school...what joy...lol...well i hope that everyone has a GREAT CHRISTMAS AND GOT EVERYTHING THEY WANTED...i know i did...i loved everything i got....well i am not going to be updating for a while because i am going to Jackson for a Youth Convention thing we are going to...so we leave thrusday and want be back til friday afternoon or sometime during the day...well tomm i have to work and i have to close so i will be home around eight...i had to work today but i worked at one to four...so it wasn't long hours....it was pretty slow and so we weren't that busy...lol...i am glad too because yesterday we opened and it was so dead that we didn't have anything to do when it was at least five..so we just stood around for two hours...what fun..lol...well at least we go paid for it..lol...well this week is going to go by really fast becasue i have off the rest of the week because i am going ot Jackson but i have already told ya'll that...it is going to be so much fun..i have never been but alot of people said it is great...and fun....i hope soo...lol...i know that it will fun because everything we do with our youth we have a blast...well i guess i will talk to ya'll later...i have to change my xanga sometimes to something else..i don't know what thought..so if ya'll any ideas please tell me...well love ya'll....ttyl..

Well tomm is Christmas Eve..so i hope that everyone is having fun on that special day...i know i am going too because i am working what JOY.....LOL..i have to work til six so it won't be that bad....lol...well i hope that everyone is thinking about me because i have to work with Butler Nat and Garreck...all the supervisors....we are going to be so busy tomm and i am going to be so tired because i have to go in at 10:00 and i don't get off until 6:00 so those are long hours for me...okay so i am going to tell everyone: MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR....YA'LL DON'T IN TROUBLE BECAUSE U WANT TO BE GOOD FOR SANTA SO U CAN GET MANY PRESENTS...LOL...

Well tomm ya'll know what i am doing but after i get off of work i am going to my moms friends house to have dinner their and a cheerful fire....so i want home to update so i am to tell ya'll everything what i am going to do the rest of this week...well on Sunday of courst it is CHRISTMAS and we are going to church to hear the services and then we are going home to open presents and after that we are going to Tuscola and visit with my moms friends family for CHRISTMAS and we are going to sing songs and have so much fun....Then at night we are going to my Grandmas house and spend time with her and let her open her presents from us...well i guess i have told ya'll everything what i am doing the rest of the week..so ya'll have a wonderful CHRISTMAS ADN HAPPY NEW YEAR AND REMEMBER THE REASON FOR THE SEASON IF U DON'T ALREADY KNOW...well talk to ya'll later and i love ya'll with love...

Well this week has gone by fast...i guess..i just wish Christmas would hurry up and get here..i am so ready to see what i get...and then on New Years me and my brothers and sister are going to have the house to ourself..so that will be so much fun...lol...but we aren't going to do anything that some others would do...lol...we might just have to friends over or something i don't know..she said we could invite some people over but not trouble makers...lol...it will be fun it just needs to hurry up and get here....well lets see what i have been up too...well tues. i got to sleep til at least 10:00 so i got me some sleep then the kitchen calls and see if i want to come to the kitchen and help cook some food for a job friday...i was okay with it it was extra money in my pocket...it didn't take us very long..lol...i was out of there about 1:00 so we did pretty good....Well then wends they wanted to know if me and my brother would like to come up there at eight in the morning and help clean up from the job and cook somemore...i was like goodness this is going to be a long week...well it was not that bad we had many people working and we got it done...lol...it took us about four hours to clean it up and finish cooking because yesterday was the last day to clean up the kitchen because we are closed til next year...so we got our checks from there...because they always pay us before Christmas...i like that and they don't have to but their good about it...well today i don't have to work i was going to go to the tanning bed but i have things to do today like wash and clean becuase we have to have the house cleaned this weekend...before Christmas...lol..yea we always are cleaning no dought about it...lol...i finished wrapping some presents today too so i wouldn't have mnay to wrap tonight because i am going to go finish my shopping tongiht i don't have many left so that is good...lol...well i guess that is all that has happened this week so i guess i will talk to ya'll later when i feel like updating again...much love...

According to the legend, there was a candy maker who
wanted to invent a candy that was a witness of Christ.

The result was the candy cane.

First of all he used a hard candy because Christ is the Rock of all ages. This hard candy was shaped so that it would resemble either a "J" for Jesus or a shepherd's staff.

He made it white to represent the Purity of Christ.

Finally a red stripe was added to represent the blood of Christ shed for the sins of the world and three thinner stripes for the stripes He received on our behalf when the Roman soldiers whipped Him.

The flavor of the candy is peppermint which is similar to hyssop. Hyssop is in the mint family and was used in the Old Testament for purification and sacrifice.

Sometimes a green stripe is added as a reminder that Jesus is a Gift from God. Jesus is the Pure Lamb of God who came to be a sacrifice for the sins of the world.

So the next time you see a candy cane, hear the Sermon it preaches: Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd, is the Rock of all Ages who suffered and died for our sins.
